Dzhulyetta Moreno-Duffy has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Social Work degrees from Florida International University. Dzhulyetta is currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the State of Florida. Dzhulyetta has an extensive clinical experience in assisting individuals and families through crisis, loss and grief, and healing with life changing medical diagnosis. Dzhulyetta is a former Clinical Hospital Social Worker at North Shore Medical Center where she worked on the hospital’s medical adult and maternal/NICU services assisting individuals and families through challenging life circumstances by addressing their mental/emotional and physical needs and empowering them to find joy and well-being no matter what is thrown their way by life. Dzhulyetta also has extensive interest and expertise in areas of maternal and infant mental health, early childhood development, and women’s wellness. Dzhulyetta comes from a multicultural background and is fluent in Spanish and Russian. Dzhulyetta uses an integrative approach to wellness and healing of mind, body, and spirit by incorporating evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), science of neuroplasticity, as well as time-tested lifestyle practices based on Ayurveda and Vedic philosophy.
